AN 197 JUST LIKE NEW AGAIN The bodywork has been repaired and a fresh coat of paint on the front end is just about dry, although the green band paint colours do not match. She will soon be back in business on Route 196. This bus was the very last bus to operate a public service from Chelsham Garage and worked the last turn on Route 196, running number CM 5 which was the 00.05 Brixton to West Norwood then empty and due back at Chelsham at 00.54 on Saturday morning 28th April 1990.
