Southdown Open Top Tree Lopper

An unexpected surprise came in the Spring of 1987 when Southdown Leyland PD3 Queen Mary Open top tree lopper, 421 DCD was on loan to Chelsham Garage for the annual ritual of trimming the branches on the trees along the local roads. This view shows the bus standing in the field outside the canteen.
